Anna Gunn (born in America) is an American actor from America. Anna Gunn is an American actress. Other roles she has played include Jean Ward in The Practice and Martha Bullock from Deadwood. Anna Gunn was born in Sante Fe New Mexico, in 1968. Her passion for acting at Preparatory school before moving to Ohio with her family in the early 1970s. She attended Northwestern University to study theatre as well as the British American Drama Academy. Anna was employed in the theatre in the Chicago area for several years prior to trying her luck in TV as well as films. Anna had her biggest break in 1992 when she appeared as Arden for 29 episodes of Down the Shore. The early 90s were when Anna was a frequent guest in TV and film, such as Seinfeld as well as NYPD Blue. Martha Bullock, a character which she played for two years during Deadwood's 2nd season.
